The film is about two brothers Kumaran (Adith) and ‘Pandhal’ Raja (Kodumudi Suresh). They earn their livelihood by erecting ‘pandhals’ in the village for festivals and functions. Fun-loving and causal, they enjoy every moment.
Things change when Valli (Reshmi) enters Kumaran’s life. Daughter of Sub-Registrar Nachiyappa Chettiyar (Prabhakar), she wants to marry Kumaran. Coming to know about the romance between Kumaran and Valli, the latter is sent to her sister’s house.
